We continued to tour the surrounding area by foot and taxi, taking in the real Vietnam. It really is indescribable, I did however try to capture on camera what words could not. It was at this point that we felt that we needed to start the next stage of our Vietnam experience. We contacted local housing agents who arrived on scooters and whisked us away to view apartments. After much searching and negotiating we found our new home. It was just a studio apartment but it was all that we needed. A fully furnished flat in a newly built apartment block with high speed internet and a large flat screen TV. We were finally on our way to independence and left our previous accommodation before we over stayed our welcome. Things were heading in the right direction.
